Happy Easter/ Springtime

 Yes I know it's a few days after Easter.  This Easter since we're still in a pandemic I wanted to bring a little happiness all around. My goal was to make Hot Cross Buns .  However since I'm not a fan of raisins I wanted to bake it with chocolate chips. Everyone in this house is a fan of chocolate chips. My usual resource to search for Hot Cross Buns is in my cookbooks but to no avail. Alas I said to myself, "Youtube is a great source." TA-DA  I found a few. I decided on the one I wanted to follow however when your little one is misbehaving plans tend to derail. Sorry no Hot Cross Buns . So I asked myself what other options do I have that is super quick and easy. "AH-HA" Betty Crocker's Party Book to the rescue.  They have really cute suggestions for celebrating Easter. Baking Adventures

Good Morning or Evening! Depending on when you're reading this post. It's Friday the 13th of September I figured I will attempt to bake again. On Wednesday I baked oatmeal muffins with disastrous results. I managed to burn most of them with the exception of four. Partly due to my attempt at multitasking in addition to having a high powered stove. I was looking for a quick and easy recipe on   Pinterest   I encountered this one: Simple Banana Muffins I followed the instructions exactly with the exception of adding a bit more cinnamon. (Side note I love cinnamon ) They turned out moist and super yummy.  Thank you to Toni Anderson for the quick and easy recipe.   Here are the results: The only thing instead of making 12 I only managed 10 muffins but I think I'm an over pourer. My 1 1/2 year old love it, I love it now if only my Partner and my son will eat one. Buen provecho ! Enjoy
